A preview from the interview Spike Lee will have tomorrow on America Today with Don Lemon. In this clip Lee talks of the expectations on President Obama and how he was seen as Black Jesus, a savior of sorts. It’s interesting because many African-Americans were attached to Obama more so from racial ties and historic symbolism than being clear on all the different issues the U.S. has. Were there too many expectations on Obama because of his meaning? As we suspect certain parties/ethnicities attack Obama based off his race, might his own race be wanting too much out of him because of his race? Let us know.
