Over the years we have all become aware of the years of conflict between Palestinians and Israel and how that dynamic affects things globally. Nations have to be aware of how their relationships with Israel changes their relationships with Palestinians, not just the countries themselves but their own citizens with ties to these nationalities. Both sides paid close attention to Barack Obama’s stance on the other to gauge their support. Barack also had to keep that in mind for Americans with ties to Palestine and Israel. Now we see Palestinians looking at Israel’s own politics and government to see how that affects their already delicate relationship. Palestinians who can vote and those that can’t watch Israel’s election season with trepidation. Sara Sidner reports.
