We shared the story of the seniors who wanted to have an integrated prom in Wilcox County, Georgia and the first thing we thought was “wow, these kids are fighting segregation in 2013”. Well it looks like this story got the attention of the NAACP as they have stepped in to urge schools to end this practice. USA Today provides a video follow up of the previous story.
