Momofuku’s owner and chef David Chang takes VICE to Koreatown in New York City and explains the mysteries of his mythical pork buns and the art of snacking through the night. Chang also gives background on his culinary journey and trying to improve at his craft every single day. You get an idea of how his travels, experiences and challenges influenced and affected how he is where he is now. Also in the video Chang visits his restaurant and runs into another fellow chef, Jose Andres and they share a dish and talk culture and food. Another interesting highlight for this clip…it seems that Chang is intoxicated for 75% of it, so we’d say conversations are pretty genuine.
