Wish is the street wear and skate lifestyle shop in Atlanta for all those that don’t know. They have released their Black History Month collection to give a nod to “Key Players” in the Civil Rights Movement. It’s interesting how a sport culture based in California that used to be seen as a “white” hobby can now be a culture globally that inspires many different people. Also interesting how clothing from the lifestyle can come full circle in a city like Atlanta and give a nod to black culture and it’s role in history. Take a stroll through the photo gallery above to see the lookbook in full detail. The t-shirts keep a consistent theme and show the “key player” inside of a large W with a name and number on the back in a players’ jersey format. We’ll leave it to you all to find the relevance in numbers, photos and names. We think this is cool, what are your thoughts on the fashionable collection? Let us know in the comments below.
