Interesting how skateboarding started off as an underground sport in Southern California that for many years was seen as something beach bums and “white” kids did. Nowadays you can see kids and adults from all different backgrounds skating and doing tricks. And with this it was only a matter of time before a non-white could be the face of a skating brand. Enter Stevie Williams who is now has a shoe with SUPRA, an official skating shoe brand. Williams also has his skate clothing brand, DGK, in Macy’s across the United States now and is the Brand Ambassador for G-Shock. Williams will hit the road for the Supra European Skate Tour which will stop in Spain, France and Germany.
