China-based designer Li Jingxuan has conceived a printer that creates scented postcards. The ‘nose’ uses a sensor that uses pattern recognition to characterize odors. From there the printer looks to simulate these odors by using a combination of aroma based inks as it prints onto a special photo-paper. Then you peel back a flap and smell it. And like that we have interactive postcards…how will this translate depending on the pictures we take? Hit the jump for more pics.
