Juliàn Castro vs Ted Cruz for Place as Texas’ First Hispanic Governor [VIDEO]

So we reported on the San Antonio mayor Julian Castro being the first Hispanic keynote speaker at the Democratic National Convention the other day, then we posted our video where we asked about seeing an Hispanic President one day.  Well it looks like the United States could be taking a step closer as it seems likely that a state like Texas could see it’s first Hispanic governor soon.  The candidates are one Julian Castro, and the other being Ted Cruz (a tea party darling).  Check out the clip below to see what Wayne Slater, senior political writer for the Dallas Morning News had to tell Jennifer Granholm and The War Room.
