Is the Average Twitter User Better at Sorting False Reports from Genuine Fact Than CNN? [VIDEO]

CNN received some backlash for a false report on the Boston Marathon tragedy. As more and more information and speculation is available for consumption on line so quickly have reliable news sources become to quick to “deliver” this information to the masses before others, therefore sacrificing journalistic integrity and research? It’s a constant debate as technology allows news [true and false] to travel much faster than previous time periods. And as the audience becomes more savvy with how to find their information, is the audience becoming better at finding the truth?
