In what’s being highly regarded as a tremendous victory for civil rights, U.S. District Judge Anthony Trenga recently deemed the manner in which the U.S. brands and adds people to its U.S. Terror Watchlist as unconstitutional.
According to Judge Trenga, “”There is no evidence, or contention, that any of these plaintiffs satisfy the definition of a ‘known terrorist'” as he went on to say that the watch list failed to meet the standards for constitutionally sufficient procedural due process.
