Bonz Malone for Black History Month | Week 2

We’re back with guest contributor Bonz Malone as he recognizes hip-hop’s contribution to Black History Month. As you know from last week, he’s posting the ‘dopest’ hip-hop records over these 28 days. Hit the jump to see this week’s highlights, and remember:

“Hip-Hop is the dream and the freedom that the children of the ghetto inherited after the Civil Rights Movement died.”

Thank God for Lyor Cohen cause if it was up to Russell they would have never been signed to Def Jam. To this very day, I still say, Def Jam was made for PE and PE embodies the type of noise that a “Def Jam” is suppose to make.. Words of truth mixed to the sound of fear! #cheers – Bonz Malone
